A Day in the forest

WINTER SOLSTICE

Come celebrate the Winter Solstice on Thursday, December 21st from 9:30am - 5:00pm with a day of being guided through nature using all of your senses.

This nature therapy day will reconnect your spirit and boost your physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. Forest bathing has volumes of studies and science showing how it helps you reconnect through nature, reducing stress, anxiety and depression.

9:30am PART 1: Donation-based nature offering

Please come to this first part to honor this day regardless of ability to pay

Bala will be offering a donation-based nature therapy experience. We will be hiking deep into the forest to make an offering of gratitude and generosity to all the creatures who live in Just Love Forest. Please bring copious amounts of fruits to take with you as part of this gift to help get them through the winter. Please add $25 if you want us to provide a lunch from the local bakery.

1:00pm PART 2: Peruvian Fire and Cacao Ceremony, $100

This second part is a paid event

Hosted by guest shamanic practitioners, Pacho Lopez and Nina Simone

A beautiful, sacred fire ceremony used to release, burn and cleanse the senses, the body and the heart of traumas, pains, and stagnant energies. A very gentle and a beautiful approach for those wanting a soft introduction to healing indigenous ceremonies.
Duration: 1- 1.5 hours +/-

A Cacao Ceremony is essentially a marriage ceremony, as it harmonizes the masculine and feminine energies within the body. This heart-opening ceremony restores balance within the physical and subtle bodies, and as our hearts open, we become more aware of our innate treasures and gifts.

Please join us with a heart-centered intention in mind! Together, we will journey and sip Cacao while Nina shares the lore of the Goddess of Chocolate, IxCacao, as well as the nature of ceremonial cacao. We will then travel deeper into our experience with Sacred medicine chants and instruments by Nina as we embark on a meditative journey to the Yucatan pyramids to mend any loose or frayed heartstrings, discovering and learning to cultivate the latent, hidden talents unique to our individual Beings.

The frequencies and vibrations of crystal singing bowls amplify our intentions to shift energetic and emotional blockages, clear and calm the mind, and allow for oneself to expand deeper into one's own conscious awareness. Relax, surrender and release as these sacred tones with the Sacred Cacao harmonize, balance, and shift your entire Being.

Please drink plenty of water, before and after this event.
*This heart healing and opening ceremony includes an energetic clearing of the subtle bodies. Space limited to 20.
Please wear comfy clothes, and come prepared to fully relax. Please bring a journal, a pen, a friend, crystals, and any other sacred items you'd like to place on the altar.

Duration: 1- 1.5 hours +/-
