But, like any adventure, there are a few important bonds of understanding and mutual agreement we must navigate together.
By making a reservation or visiting, you're agreeing that you've read, understand and agree to abide by the following agreement and liability waiver for our mutual safety, respect and well-being.
My Comprehensive Agreement with Just Love Forest (Just Love, LLC)
As I eagerly anticipate joining the nurturing community at Just Love Forest, I acknowledge the importance of aligning with the retreat’s values and guidelines to ensure a harmonious and enriching experience for everyone. My participation signifies a full and informed agreement to the comprehensive terms detailed below, designed to foster an environment of safety, respect, unity, and mutual care.
Full Agreement Overview:
1. Activity Safety: I acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of participating in outdoor and retreat activities, understanding that these are integral to the retreat experience.
2. Vehicle Use: I take full responsibility for any use of vehicles on the premises, fully aware of and accepting all associated risks.
3. Equipment Use: Should I choose to use tools or machinery, I do so based on my discretion and skill, fully assuming all related risks.
4. Risk Acknowledgment: I am aware of and voluntarily accept the risks involved in all retreat activities.
5. Meditation and Activities :I voluntarily choose to participate in meditation and physical activities, fully understanding their demands.
6. Minors Supervision: I accept full responsibility for the supervision and safety of any minors under 12 that I bring to the retreat.
7. Environmental Care: I commit to respecting and preserving the natural environment of the forest.
8. Community Respect: I understand the zero-tolerance policy for discrimination or disrespectful behavior and accept the consequences of such actions as being asked to leave with no refund,
9. Carpooling: I acknowledge that carpooling is encouraged but voluntary, and accept that Just Love LLC bears no liability for any incidents related to carpooling.
10. Photo and Video Release: I give consent for Just Love LLC to use any photographs or videos taken during the retreat for promotional purposes.
11. Drug and Alcohol Policy: I understand and agree to the strict prohibition against drugs and alcohol, and the consequences of non-compliance as being removed with no refund.
12. Right to Dismiss: I accept Just Love LLC’s right to remove any participant for disruptive behavior, at their discretion, without a refund.
13. Cancellation Policy: I understand all registrations are final, with considerations made for emergencies on a case-by-case basis for potential future event credit.
14. Timeliness for Events: I commit to punctuality, understanding the implications of late arrivals on my participation. I am not guaranteed late entry or a refund in that case.
15. Personal Property Liability: I acknowledge that Just Love LLC is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to my personal items during the retreat. I hereby release Just Love LLC from any liability related to my personal property. I understand the importance of securing my belongings and agree to take full responsibility for them.
26. Disclosure of Life-Threatening Conditions and Allergies: I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to disclose any life-threatening conditions or allergies on my registration form prior to the retreat. I understand the importance of providing this information to ensure my safety and well-being during the retreat. By doing so, I release Just Love LLC from any responsibility related to my life-threatening conditions or allergies. I agree to take all necessary precautions and provide accurate health information to facilitate appropriate support and care from the retreat staff.
16. Emergency Medical Care Consent: In the case of an emergency, I consent to receiving emergency medical care provided by Just Love organizers and staff, and I accept responsibility for any costs associated.
17. Acknowledgment of Changes to the Agreement: I agree to be bound by any updates to this agreement, ensuring my continued compliance.
18. Confirmation of Physical and Mental Fitness: I confirm my readiness to participate, both physically and mentally, not under the influence of impairing substances.
19. Indemnification: I release and indemnify Just Love LLC from any claims related to my participation, even those alleging negligence on their part.
20. Legal Fees: If Just Love LLC incurs legal fees to enforce this agreement, I agree to cover those costs.
21. Insurance: I confirm having adequate insurance or accept the responsibility for any injury or damage I might incur or cause.
22. Data Collection and Privacy Policy: I recognize Just Love’s commitment to data privacy and consent to their data practices as outlined, including my rights to view, amend, or delete my personal data.
23. Court: Should legal disputes arise, I agree to file solely in Fulton County, GA, under the substantive laws of that state.
24. Consent: I understand the legal implications, especially concerning my rights against Just Love LLC, and affirm my comprehensive understanding and acceptance of these terms.
By agreeing to these terms, I not only ensure my well-being but also actively contribute to the collective experience of the retreat, fully embodying the spirit of Just Love Forest. I appreciate the opportunity to be part of this retreat and commit to upholding these principles for the benefit of all participants.
