Join in as part of the Just Love Forest team this June. $250 covers all your food and shared accommodations for five days. You’ll be working alongside your peers building the Adobe permaculture village and developing the trails and nature observation areas. Here’s a sample itinerary of what you’ll give and receive during your time in the forest:
Monday: Arrive at 10:30am in Poetry, Ga. Meet your forest friends, get settled in your forest home and enjoy an introductory afternoon, forest therapy and opening gathering.
Tuesday: Morning meditation & breath work, Adobe work day one, evening gathering.
Wednesday: Morning meditation & breath work, Adobe work day two, evening gathering.
Thursday: Morning meditation & breath work, land development work day three, evening gathering with cacao ceremony.
Friday: Morning meditation & breath work, forest therapy day experience, closing gathering, depart for home at 5:00pom.
Food
Your experience includes vegetarian meals: breakfast (fresh organic fruit and granola), lunch (sandwiches and/or salads) and dinner (variety of pasta, rice and vegetable dishes). Fresh spring water from the land or tap water is provides with optional natural fruit flavorings. Surprises will served from time to time.
Accommodations
You’ll be sharing a big beautiful classic canvas bell tent with two other forest friends. These bell tents are 16.5 feet in diameter and you’ll have your own bed and mattress with sheets. If you’d like more space:

Bathrooms and Showers
We follow the humanure methodology of using compost toilets. These are each in a private outhouses with beautiful forest views. We offer Helio Pressure Showers. Unlike gravity camp showers that need to be hung overhead and produce dismal water pressure, you can quickly and easily pressurize the voluminous 5.8-gallon tank with a foot pump – and with occasional pumps you can keep it fully pressurized for 7-10 minutes of strong, continuous spray.
