Friday, august 26th

4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Arrival and check-in

You may arrive between 4pm-8pm. You’ll follow the signs to check in with our team. Please have your confirmation email able to be pulled up on your phone or printed out. We will direct you to your site and offer you an introduction to the grounds of the nature preserve. If you will be late, please let us know in advance.

6:30 pm, wilderness narrative @ The meadow

JUSTIN AMOS

This is a type of story telling that rebuilds the natural world around us from the first plant to the ancient forest. Starting at our feet, we will learn how to interpret the timeless story woven into our environment. Join me as we read a tale as old as pine.

7:30 pm, Soul embodiment ceremony @ The Yurt

CHRISTINA IACONO

Reconnect to your core soul essence and heart wisdom, harmonize the body-spirit-mind through voice activation, inner child work, medicine songs, and guided imagery/breath. Personalized energy work may include intuitive touch, anointing with therapeutic oils, crystal healing, etc.

8:30 pm, Opening gathering @ The meadow

We will gather in a circle in the meadow for an opening foraged tea blessing to thank the forest, ancestors and the lineage of all stewards of the land, sharing stories of its history. There is no meal served Friday night so please remember to pack your meal or eat in advance of your arrival.

10:00 Pm - 1:00AM, live music @ the stage

Come spend the evening amongst the trees listening to our musical friends offering live music and poetry reading.

Saturday, august 27th

7:00 am, guided meditation and breathwork @ THE YURT

BALA

Early risers join Bala for an hour of meditation and breathwork. This is accessible to people of all levels of experience. Come start your day feeling connected and clear in the forest.

10:00 am, Journey of the phoenix meditation @ THE YURT

Come share your divine consciousness. I am Casey Williams a certified educator, coach, and life enthusiast. The flow of this class is to align with the divine idea of all consciousness. Taking you a journey of the Phoenix through breathe work, mindfulness, and songs.

ANDREA LAUBSTEIN

A yoga session for the child within us all. We will practice and play through yoga stories, games, partner poses, and songs in this fun filled yoga class. Get ready to roar like a lion and fly like a butterfly.

11:00 am, relationship check-in: honoring 10 years of communication @ ThE CAnOPY

LIZ BLISS & MATTHEW DEMARKO

A collaborative workshop on exploring open partnerships and communication with Liz Bliss and fiance Matthew Demarko. We will share our stories of exploring other partners within our relationship over the past 10 years, establishing boundaries, honoring each others' desires and fears, and how we each maintained a sense of sovereignty and authentic expression while in a partnership. Learn how to create your own "Relationship Check-In" within a partnership in this workshop.

The Lost Art of Relating: Sensuality is a word quite often misunderstood yet put most simply, it is about presence. In this workshop Hara will introduce eco sensuality and guide us through a practice of relating with nature through our 6 senses. This will be a practice of dropping into true presence and right relationship with self and the work around us.

A talk on understanding our rebellious, creative, and transformative nature that unfolds during this stage of human development. Talk will be followed by a brief group inquiry.

1:00 Pm, herbal first aid remedies for campouts and mutual aid @ THE canopy

DEIA PAULINE

People have been effectively using healing plant medicines for first aid situations since there have been injuries to treat. Learn the top remedies for your first-aid kits using common weeds, kitchen spices, easy to use and easy to grow medicines for addressing common first-aid situations like heat exhaustion, minor wounds, digestive upset, anxiety and more. The skills and knowledge you’ll acquire are valuable for yourself, your family, and community. This class will be interactive and extremely practical. There will be testers for people to see, smell, taste, experience. No previous medical or herbal training necessary.

MAYA BAUMEISTER

Practice Earthen Building techniques on a small scale where sustainable design meets stewardship in this hands-on workshop as we construct homes for the fae of the forest! 

2:00 Pm, SOUND BATH IMMERSION @ THE YURT

ALEX BALLEW with ANDREW GOLDEN

We’ll be filling the forest with deep tones from the gong, gentle melodies from the crystal harp, vibrations from singing bowls, didgeridoos, rain sticks, bells, drums and more. Drift into the stillness below the mind and access the parasympathetic nervous system for an opportunity to let go, rejuvenate, feel grounded and become deeply relaxed. Participants have an opportunity for emotional revelation, a chance to connect with themselves and ultimately tap into their innate ability for self healing.

2:00 Pm, permaculture 101 @ THE meAdow

CHELSEA & ALEXANDER BALE

Chelsea and Alexander will be leading an introduction into permaculture. They will be discussing its formation, principles and how you can apply it to everyday life. With just under a decade of gardening experience and an extreme love for nature, they’ve pursued a life of environmental stewardship and wishes to share the knowledge he picks up along the way to all who will listen. Alexander now works full-time as a permaculture gardener. Creating and maintaining ecoscapes all around Atlanta, as well as educating home owners on the most ecologically sound decisions they can make for their yards.

3:00 Pm, Walnut Workshop @ THE canopy

KATE & DOJO

LEARN TO LOVE WALNUTS! We’ll visit trees in the forest, weaving discussion along with button-crafting, walnut-dying, tincturing, plus roasting, smashing & picking nutmeats. We’ll discuss identification, seasonal harvests, plant companions, how to incorporate this fabulous tree into food forests & share about experiments with pollarding, sap-tapping, wood cookies & more.

4:00 Pm, breathwork @ THE meadow

SARA WATTS

Sarah will guide you through a therapeutic breathwork experience combining breath awareness and conscious circular breathing. Sarah hopes this workshop leaves you feeling more empowered and connected to your authentic expression. 

Sarah is a holistic health guide passionate about breathwork, detox, and hydration. She loves learning about bioavailability and bioelectricity as it relates to healing. She believes everyone is their greatest teacher and healer. Sarah is a yogi kickboxing instructor, avid juicer, and aspiring mushroom farmer.

5:00 Pm, ECSTATIC MOVEMENT @ THE STAGE

EMILY ROYAL

Join Burlesque Performer, Producer, & Instructor, Royal Tee for FLOWLESQUE, an immersive Burlesque and Flow workshop for all humans, where we will connect to the parts of our body that feel yummy, embody our own innate and undeniable Divine Sovereignty, and will flow with abandon! In this sacred container, you will be guided through a warm up flow, guided sensual ecstatic movement, and will learn a short choreography. Flow props are welcomed during the sensual ecstatic movement portion. For all levels and abilities!

SAM THURMOND

Sam will be offering a restorative Meridian exercise sequence. You will utilize self-percussion, movement, and abdominal breathing to achieve peace, health, and happiness. 

11:00 am, Starting Over @ THE nature labyrinth

TREVOR STRICKLAND

Bring meditation back to its fundamentals. Beginners and Olympic meditators are welcome as we dive deep into the basic rationale and practice of mindfulness meditation.

The Ecstatic Priestess - Kundalini Activation - a Kundalini opening of the 7 major chakras through movement and breathwork to provide all bodies with strength and vitality in their dance.
