Green burial

A returning to the land

We are delighted to announce the opening of our community cemetery on the sacred Bhakti Mountain, dedicated exclusively to the Just Love community and their beloved animals.

This distinctive cemetery provides a deeply meaningful experience, adhering to the eco-friendly and traditional practices of green burial. It serves not merely as a place of rest but as an invitation to merge with the forest, enveloped by love and sacred communion.

Green or natural burial is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional burial practices, focusing on returning the body to the earth in a manner that promotes environmental sustainability. Unlike conventional burials, which often involve embalming fluids, metal caskets, and concrete vaults, natural burials use biodegradable materials and avoid chemicals to ensure that the body decomposes naturally and enriches the soil. These sites are preserved as natural habitats, with graves marked by natural features like trees or rocks, rather than traditional headstones. Natural burial is not only a way to minimize the environmental impact of death but also offers a spiritually and emotionally meaningful approach to the concept of returning "dust to dust."

Learn about the support we offer during one of life's most pivotal transitions at our natural community cemetery. Whether you opt for your ashes to be scattered in the forest or for a natural full body burial, ceremonially reconnecting you with the earth, our team is here to guide you through the process.

Our staff includes trained death midwives and individuals certified in Green Burial Cemetery Operation by the Green Burial Council.

We will be organizing intimate Zoom discussions to discuss the journey, answer questions about the available options and all of the steps involved.

The sacred role of death doulas is crucial, guiding us through life's ultimate transformation with compassion and wisdom. Their work enriches this profound journey, making it a deeply meaningful, conscious and loving experience.

  • your support network

Lastly, it's essential for you and your support network—loved ones, friends, and family—to be informed about your journey and wishes. Their understanding and support are crucial for honoring your choices and supporting our community after you've passed.
