CLIMATE GRIEVING & Resilience weekend Retreat experience: October 13th

Come share the weekend with people grappling and seeking to evolve with the changes in our climate conditions. We will offer space to share your personal journeys of both grief and resilience as we experience these shifts in our planet together. This is a weekend retreat, arriving at 4pm or 7pm on Friday for our opening fire gathering. We’ll share three days in the forest together with 20 others with deep conversations, forest therapy, sound healing, foraged teas and cacao. We’ll spend Sunday in contemplation of how to best serve yourself and the Earth by renewing your personal commitment.

About Forest Therapy: The medicine you receive from nature while in the forest is multifaceted

You receive the psychological well-being of the quiet and colors of natural surroundings. But more specifically and scientifically, Shinrin-yoku is the Japanese practice of “forest bathing.”

When you come to Just Love, you are literally bathing in “phytoncides” the organic compounds that trees give off that boost white blood cell counts in humans. These are known as “natural killer or NK cells” and kill tumors and viruses of all types.

After a few hours of peaceful immersion, you leave with greater connection and wellbeing that spans mental, emotional and physical aspects of your being. Learn more about the practice here.
