it starts with community.

At Just Love Forest, we are more than just a final resting place; we are a testament to the beauty and importance of community in the journey of life and death. Our ethos is centered on the profound belief that death and dying are not only inevitable aspects of life but are also opportunities for deep, meaningful engagement within a community. We are committed to reviving the sacred, often forgotten tribal rituals that honor conscious dying, making these pivotal moments rich with love, support, and communal connection.

To be interred in our forest is to have been an active part of our Transformation Tribe, a community dedicated to engaging with the transformative power of death through participation, curiosity, and open-hearted exploration. Guided by our compassionate team of death doulas, we cultivate a space where every member can connect with the cycle of life and death in a deeply personal and communal way.

Our tribe is vibrant and alive, offering rich experiences that deepen our connection to these transitions. Josh leads monthly forest therapy sessions on the sacred grounds of Bhakti Mountain, inviting participants to explore themes of mortality and the beauty of life's ephemeral nature. Additionally, our online gatherings provide a space to discuss natural burial practices and share personal encounters with death, fostering a sense of shared understanding and support.

Being a part of this journey with us means actively engaging in these experiences, including at least one transformative session with Josh and collaboration with our death doulas. This engagement is vital for becoming a part of our community and gaining eligibility for burial on the serene slopes of Bhakti Mountain.

Our approach to community burial is unique, extending beyond the act of burial to include the celebration of the elders and spirits who rest alongside us. We mark the passage of time and honor our connections to those who have passed in our gatherings on the Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Fall Equinox, and Winter Solstice.

As Just Love Forest grows, we are selective in our burial practices, prioritizing those who have forged a deep connection with our community and the sacred land we steward. If you or your loved ones are seeking to approach this significant life transformation consciously, we invite you to reach out. Let's explore together how you can join our tribe, celebrate life, and honor death in the embrace of Just Love Forest.
